James Algar Net Worth and Bio

James Algar was an American film director, screenwriter and film producer.

Born in Modesto, California, he worked for Walt Disney Productions for 43 years and received the Disney Legends prize in 1998. He is also known at home for making Academy Award-winning naturalistic documentaries for the best documentaries, thanks also to the collaboration with Walt Disney, he died in Carmel, also in California.
